is there true love, or not?

this morning,
im so glad tht i wasnt late for work.
i went online,
&realise two of my friends,
broke up with their boyf ytd.
im not gonna name them,
in order to protect them.

tht was a saddening news,
&fcos, shocking.

th following may be contradicting,
to SOME.

i dun like break up(s),
&if this happens to me,
it must be im sick of changing for th r/s,
OR,
i dun love tht person anymore.

i mean im sure tht's wad everyone think,
when it comes to break up(s).

hmmm,
for th both of them,
it might be th feelings fade away,
OR,
it's th man's ego.

well,
i'd like to know,
wad can keep th feelings longlasting?
if th feelings fade away,
im sure both party have to be responsible for it.
im afraid it will happpen in my relationship.

&im sure there's no way
love will EVER remain th same.

if a person's love for you is constant,
you think it will fade away?

if a person's love for you keeps increasing,
will it decrease one day?

if you disappoint a person too much,
will tht person choose to leave you?

if you do not keep your promises,
will th relationship fall apart?

there are so many IF(s),
&possibilities.
is it a risk tht everyone MUST take?

sure,
i do agree tht being in love is blissful.
but wad abt out of love?
will life be th same?
if th person you had for yrs,
just left you just like tht,
will you know how to carry on with your life,
like how it was previously?

you have someone to share your happiness&sorrows with,
someone to accompany you when you're bored,
blah blah blah.
it's good though,
to have someone by your side.

but wad if everything goes wrong?
will th couple still feel as blissful?
will they do everything they can,
to salvage th relationship,
or to let it go?

there's a certain amount of sacrifices,
or rather, changes, tht you have to make,
to gain those happiness.
is everyone willing to change themselves
unconditionally for th one they love?

i doubt so.
if not,
there wont be break up(s)
or divorce(s).

true,
i do agree tht th above isnt th ONLY cause.
but, im sure they are th COMMON ones.

well,
i think i shld reconsider,
whether there's true love,
or not.
