accompanied the pop star to numerous events and appearances.
Jamie Lynn started her acting career
by playing the younger version of Britney's character,
Lucy, in her film Crossroads.


Just like Brit, Jamie Lynn took gymnastics classes,
showing off her skills at the Kids R Us fashion show in 2002.

waited until just before Thanksgiving to tell her mom Lynne that she was pregnant.
"She didn't really say anything at first," she says.
"She just kind of looked at me."


Jamie Lynn,

have been dating for two and a half years.
He was the first person she called
after she found out she was expecting.
"It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she tells OK!.
"I was in complete and total shock and so was he."


Lynne was equally shocked when Jamie Lynn told her the big news.
"I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious.
She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock.
I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."
